"Make A Splash" with this new Stampin'Up® Photopolymer Hostess stamp set

If you ever wanted to have a fish tank without ever having to actually clean the tank, this is the answer. The new Hostess "Make A Splash" Photopolmer stamp set.  It is just darling. This set is part of Stampin'Up® Distinkative line which has all the gorgeous detail in just one application.

Sometimes, I like to go in depth with my cards but today I kept it simple. I like the clean look that I get from a one layer card.  I hope you like it.

If you notice I anchored the bowl with a very light wash of Gray Granite.  That way it doesn't look like it is floating in space on the card. The bowl itself is stamped in the same color.

The pebbles are stamped in Crumb Cake, the greenery is Granny Apple Green and I stamped it once in full color and stamped right beside it again without re-inking my stamp and that is what gives the shadow effect.

The fish is stamped in Pacific Point I used a sponge dauber to add bits of Gorgeous Grape here and there on it for interest.

The water line is stamped in Coastal Cabana.

Then with an Aqua Painter I did a very light wash with little water. I took some Coastal Cabana and watered it down so the color was very light. Next I used the watered down Coastal Cabana and very carefully, using an Aqua Brush, colored around my stamped images.  If you go over the plants or fish they will smudge as they are stamped with water based ink.

I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape.

Thank you so much for joining me today. My name is Lisa McDonough and I am an Independent Stampin'Up® Demonstrator here in Canada. If you do not have a Demonstrator I would love to be yours.  Please connect with me.
